Description: This project focused on conducting an evidence map on research investigating the abuse of children with disabilities in East Africa. We set out to understand patterns and gaps in the conducted research with a special emphasis on potential protective and risk factors of abuse. The evidence map visualised the relations between different types of disabilities and types of abuse as well as the amount of research evidence for each. The map also indicated the trustworthiness and relevance of the research.
