SUPPORTING EVIDENCE-USE IN AFRICA
Whether you are someone working as a researcher in government, a policy-maker in parliament, or a civil rights activist in the private sector, we all need and use evidence every day. If you’re looking to use evidence in your work, ACE offers three different areas of support.
ACE has immense experience in conducting systematic reviews on diverse issues related to development. From the effect of ecosystem services for poverty alleviation to the impact of women’s wage labour, ACE has through the years developed a reputation for delivering high-quality work, on time, and to budget. Why not explore our evidence repositories on our evidence synthesis page to see if the evidence you’re looking for you already exists.
Haven’t been able to find the evidence you need for your work? Reach out to us and we can share what we know about responsive evidence syntheses, their application, and whether one may be suitable for your needs.
At times, we have found that colleagues do not necessarily need evidence for their work but rather prefer support for how to go about using evidence they may have already in their work. We have published a number of chapters and papers that people within different roles will find useful when trying to implement evidence-informed decision-making in their work, whatever area they are in.
